Pouring the stairs and the Otzar

Once everything is framed out, it’s time to pour the concrete for the stairs and the otzar!

Please support our mikvah project, with either a one-time donation (using the progress widget to the right) or recurring monthly donations (above the progress widget). For dedication opportunities, please contact Rabbi Rabinowitz. All donations are tax deductible.

Pouring the stairs

The otzar form, almost full of concrete. You can see the double wall of rebar and the copper grounding wire along the top.

Smoothing out the lower landing in the mikvah.

The staging on which the concrete hose rested, to pour the otzar.

Pouring slabs above part of the borot, in order to extend the mikvah room.

The otzar, poured, skimmed, and edged.

The stairs and landings, poured and smoothed.
